Moorings paid till 1st October 2010. Also available (for an additional payment) as a Residential Mooring, (You need to speak to the marine manager to arrange this). "Destiny" is moored in Horning, Norfolk. She has a Boat Safety Certificate until 11/02/2013. She Includes the following: Running Hot/Cold Water, 240V Mains Hook-up, Toilet sink & Shower (shower needs shower tray) Chemical Toilet, Gas Cooker & Grill, Gas Central (Warm Air) Heating. Wood Burning Stove (Brilliant for those chilly evenings) Automatic Bilge Pump, Hot Water Tank heats via engine (or) 240V Hook-up. 1.5 BMC, Diesel Engine. (Starts first time). 240V Automatic Battery Charger. 240V Microwave oven. "Destiny" is wooden hull construction with the roof and sides encapsulated in fibreglass. There is no recent hull survey. But the boat was taken out the water in August 2009, The whole bottom was scrubbed, cleaned and antifouled. Many of her hull planks were replaced at a cost of £3.000. The hull sides and back were painted with 3 coats of paint in September 2009. Topside exterior; Needs to be cleaned and painted. There are several cans of marine paint onboard, Including 2.5 Lt of blue, 2.5 Lt of light blue (anti slip), and 2.5 Lt of white. She sleeps up to four people, The forward cabin has two singles (or) one double bed. Rear cabin has one single (or) you will need to buy an additional piece of foam to make a double bed. Note: The rear cabin bed is created via slats placed between the existing seats. There are lots of friendly faces on the marina and is a fantastic, beautiful place to live, (or) ideal as a base in which to explore the broads. Only a short walk from excellent Pubs and Restaurants, and only about 8 miles to Norwich City Centre, And approx. 2 miles to Wroxham. The mooring also comes with a water supply and 240V Electric Hook-up (electric cards available to buy from the marine manager). Please contact me for more information and photos. |

Tumblehome is a beautiful 24’ mahogany on oak river cruiser. She was originally built in 1952 by Royalls of Wroxham. In 2005 she started a complete restoration at Martham Boat building company. The restoration took 3 years and included; complete re-planking above the water line, 80% re-planking below the water line, new roof, new front windows, new screens and canopy and complete re upholstering.
She also has a new Nani 3.21 diesel engine with hot water system, new 12V ASU fridge and a new electric flush toilet and waste system. This refit was completed in 2008 and she has had 2 seasons on the water.
Tumblehome is a beautiful old boat with modern creature comforts and reliability. She has 4 berths in 2 doubles and makes an extremely comfortable boat for 2 people and a fun weekender for 4.
There is a complete photographic record of the restoration along with receipts for all the work, new equipment and fittings. The engine has been fully serviced from new and only has 300 hours on.
Tumblehome has an up to date BSS certificate. |

Leading off this room there is a bathroom with fitted bath and pump out toilet with its own holding tank. Also in the computer/dressing room is a cupboard for hanging coats etc, in here you will find the tumble dryer.
Leading forward from here is the door through to the large galley which is 16 feet long. 2 fridges, loads of work surface, new built in oven, new 4 burner hob with lots of cupboards, the cupboard doors are new and modern. Doors leading off the galley to a double cabin with wardrobe and ensuite shower, toilet and sink. Another door leading off from the galley takes you to a twin cabin with cupboard, wardrobe and ensuite shower, toilet and sink. The last door leading off from the gally takes you to a large, spacious lounge with built in L shaped sofa with storage under, plenty of cupboards, dining table, large fitted mirror and TV. Note the lounge roof slides back allowing alfresco entertainment on board. The boat is carpeted throughout and curtains and upholstery are all professionally made and fitted. The woodwork has been varnished to a high standard. The engine has been well maintained. The boat comes with handbooks for all equipment fitted. Note this boat is low air draft and can navigate the whole of the broads including Wroxham and Potter Heigham bridges.
